Highly-rated winger Zoran Tosic has been cleared to join Manchester United from Partizan Belgrade, after being granted a work permit by British authorities.
The 21-year-old will join up with his Serbia team-mate Nemanja Vidic at Old Trafford in January, after the permit was granted at a Home Office hearing attended by United manager Sir Alex Ferguson. United have not made public the fee they have agreed for the Tosic, who can play on either flank and has been capped 12 times by his country. Tosic will face a tough fight to break into United's first team, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Park Ji-Sung, Nani and Ryan Giggs all options for Ferguson on the wings.
The Premier League and UEFA Champions League holders are also keeping tabs on another promising Partizan youngster, 19-year-old midfielder Adam Ljajic.
This is the reason why Alex Ferguson think he is the best replacement of Ryan Giggs >> see this video
